Imagine a meeting place for free spirits and free thinkers, all of whom love to share ideas and passions around the campfire.

The MoonShadow Visions website is a project of Lance Pierce & John Haynes. We believe in the concept of a loosely formed community, a conduit of sorts through which interesting, compelling, and visionary ideas flow. At first, we described our little corner here as a "tribal community," but as it developed it became apparent that we should describe it as what it has really become: A home for the spirit, where travelers of this thing we call life can come in, meet with others, and share. Through this site and our e-zine called E-llusions, we reach out and invite everyone to live to the fullest, to explore what it is to be fully human, to love and to learn, and to marvel.

MoonShadow Visions aligns itself with no particular outlook. There are many, many paths to being alive and vibrant. Our method is best described by the vow of friendship that we have prominently posted on our BBS, and it stands true for the rest of our website as well:

So please, share with us something we greatly value: Your participation and involvement. After all, you're part of what it's all about, too. We greatly encourage you to share YOUR ideas and/or the ideas of those you admire. This website is a place where people can come to partake in a variety of explorations and activities, all devoted to helping you find further ideas, values, and information to augment your personal and spiritual endeavors.

MoonShadow Visions is founded with these principles in mind:

• The exploration of life and existence is a viable activity and a necessary one to lead to personal and cultural improvement.
• Explorations into life and existence are better shared.
• The world is not only big enough for diversity, but depends on diversity in all things for its balanced existence.
• The higher explorations are those spent in service.

 From these precepts, MSV holds to these ideals:

• We exist to serve all whom we reasonably can.
• We promote the free exchange of non-malicious ideas without limitation and irrespective of medium.
• We work to promote the good of the individual and community of life.
• We work to promote ideals that will help ensure the continued good of the world.

Unlike most businesses and organizations, MoonShadow Visions absolutely does NOT sell, rent, or otherwise share our mailing lists---e-mail or regular mail--- with anyone. Period. The same goes for your phone number or name. We reveal no addresses, whether it's one or many, to anyone. Any names appearing in E-llusions or on our site are simply to give credit for material appearing there, and any addresses published in E-llusions or on our site have been so with the understanding that the author wishes to receive feedback.

It's as simple as that.
